In this Dolby Music Community Session, Grammy-winning engineers Justin Gray, Michael Romanowski and co-producer Drew Jurecka, explore the creation of the Grammy-winning album, Immersed, winner of Best Immersive Audio Album at this year’s Grammy Awards. Immersed is a cinematic album composed, recorded, and produced from the ground up for immersive audio by Justin and mastered by Michael. The record was co-produced by Drew and Morten Lindberg. Featuring 38 artists from around the world, the project places the listener at the center of a 360-degree orchestra. Mixed and produced in Dolby Atmos and paired with a full-length film, Immersed synthesizes original composition, immersive audio production, and visual storytelling to reimagine how music can be experienced.
