Li MEGA: World’s first car supporting Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos

 

Li MEGA, the company’s first electric MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), is the world’s first vehicle to support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Additionally, new models of Li Auto’s L Series, including L7, L8, and L9 SUVs, also support both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. With these integrations, drivers and passengers can see more, hear more, and feel each moment of their favorite content more deeply. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos redefine car entertainment by revealing previously unseen details and colors and unheard layers and depths.

 

Li MEGA vehicles are equipped with three OLED screens (two in the front console and one drop-down screen in the rear) and a premium sound system with 21 speakers and 2,160 watts max output to support premium video streaming in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Video content can be streamed in both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos over Tencent Video and iQIYI, and Dolby Atmos music can be streamed via QQ Music and NetEase Cloud Music.

The L9 will be available to test drive in 233 of Li Auto’s retail stores in 108 cities starting in July 2022, and delivery will begin in August 2022. Consumers will first be able to experience music in Dolby Atmos through the Chinese streaming service iQIYI, with other music services aiming to become available at a later date.
