On October 16 and 17, 2022, Mercedes-Benz hosted an event in Paris, France to introduce their new EQE SUV and announce the collaboration between Mercedes-Benz, Apple Music, UMG, and Dolby to bring a Dolby Atmos listening experience to a broad range of their vehicles, including the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class as well as the EQE, EQE SUV, EQS, and EQS SUV. The event included remarks from executives from each company, as well as a Dolby Atmos mixing demo from mix engineer Derek Ali.
