Dolby Laboratories and Mercedes-Benz showed the future of in-car entertainment at the Q-Factory during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). For two days , visitors had the opportunity to experience Dolby Atmos in person in immersive listening sessions, a recording studio and a living room demonstration, as well as in a Mercedes-Benz car.
The “Dolby Atmos x Mercedes-Benz Hangout Event” was open to the public as part of ADE on Thursday, October 19th and Friday, October 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CET at the Q-Factory.

The “Dolby Atmos x Mercedes-Benz Hangout Event” was open to the public as part of ADE on Thursday, October 19th and Friday, October 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CET at the Q-Factory.
The Q-Factory hosted a series of events where guests were able to enjoy one of Dolby's latest innovations : Dolby Atmos for cars in top-end Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
A Dolby Studio was set up on site where visitors could enjoy immersive listening experiences in Dolby Atmos with tracks by Max Cooper, SEFA, Len Faki, KI/KI, Mobilee - Ralf Kollmann , Rodriguez Jr. and Remy van Kesteren .
At the Dolby Studio, a team of experienced audio mixers and Dolby engineers offered hands-on sessions to give guests the opportunity to mix their own tracks in Dolby Atmos .

LudoWic - LINESCAPES live in Dolby Atmos
A documentary including a live performance in the STMPD studios. Visitors had the opportunity to see Dutch artist and musician LudoWic create a completely new, immersive live experience using Dolby Atmos. With the help of technical experts, LudoWic explored the (im)possibilities of this space-filling audio format.
He said: "With Dolby Atmos, you don't just hear the sound, you feel it around you." This technology, combined with a new way of thinking about sound and placement, gave LudoWic the opportunity to express his music in a new and immersive way.
