Beyond Business

The organization's leadership is bringing video conferencing to Camp CEO, a three-day event for 70 high-school-aged Girl Scouts who meet for mentoring, leadership training, and recreation in Marin County, California.

"We're really excited this year," says CEO Marina Park, "to be partnering with Highfive and Dolby Voice to bring to the girls at Camp CEO a video conferencing experience." These scouts will meet with executive women mentors from across the San Francisco Bay Area, who can join the camp meeting from any location in the world.

Video conferencing helps the mentors manage their time more effectively, without traveling. And the young leaders will "be able to meet more mentors than ever before and have conversations with women that they otherwise might not be able to meet."

CEO Park adds: "And also, we really want them to … get a taste of what the business world is like, and today the business world is about using new tools to connect with each other."
